Explosion of Love

That's how I've been feeling lately.  Like I'm going to explode with love everytime I see this little guy.  Even if he does wake up at 6am on the weekends (luckily he went back to sleep on Saturday til 8:30 after I gave him his pacifier).  His smile melts my heart.  Does it melt yours too?

Gets me every time.

As I told you earlier, Jude got baptised!  Yay!  It was a great day and I have a ton of pictures that I need to put up.  But I just had a quick break in between classes so I wanted to show you these.

You know, for a Monday, it's going pretty well.  Hope you feel the same.

Oh I forgot to add...I've been playing around on my new favorite website, picnik.com.  That'll explain the funky pics and judes written everywhere.  It's my latest obsession.  If you want to waste time and tweek a few pics, that site is calling your name.

diggin'

Do you love Adele as much as I do?  She's amazing and I'm totally diggin this cd.  It is my current fave pandora station and ipod choice.

In other news, it went from 90 degrees to 40 in like 2 days.  Which makes me frustrated for a few reasons.
1.) I love fall and need that in between weather.
2.) I have no idea where any of my cold weather clothes are...don't even get me started about Jude's.
3.) It seems wrong to use the ac and heat in the same week.
Are you with me Nebraskans?
Californians...shut it.

But if it's gonna be cold(er) I'm excited to start wearing these again

scarves and boots are some of my favorite cold weather items.

In other news, this weekend is gonna be pretty exciting for us.  Jude's getting baptized!  I can't wait to see him become a child of God in that cute little white outfit that his dad wore at almost exactly the same age. And speaking of that outfit, it's sort of summery. So Sunday, if you're listening, you better not be too cold.

Jude you're getting....

big! And I think it's really cute. And fun.  You have the greatest, laid-back personality I've ever seen in any baby....and I've seen lots of babies. You know what everyone says when they see you?  He's such a little man! He looks so mature.  Well, you're our mature little man.  And we couldn't love you any more!

You really want to crawl

My beautiful friend Marisa came to the big O to meet Jude.  She survived an earthquake and hurricane on the east coast to make the journey.

Lucky for her, there was no tornado in Nebraska when she was here.

First time in his exersauser.  Is that what you call it?  Either way, his cute little legs dangled and could barely reach the bottom.

There was so much to discover on this thing.

Toy overload!

First Nebraska game of the year.  Look at my big and lil huskers.  Yes, Jude has an entire Nebraska outfit, bib, shoe socks, pacifier and bottle.  We're set.

This just makes me laugh.  Look at those bug eyes.  Oh Judebug!

This is him 95% of the time lately...

so strong

Watching tv of course

3 Months

He was hungry during this series of pics, but I was determined to take them before he spit-up on his outfit.  Sorry Judebug, I'm a mean mom.

Ok, I get it, you're mad.

Yeah I know.

Got it. You're hungry.

Had to take one of the side part...that's our little man!

In all fairness, that photoshoot took like 5 minutes.  I was not starving my child for long.

So recently we put Jude in his real crib (for a nap...not all night).  He's been sleeping in a pack n play in our room since he was born, but since he seemed to nap really well in there, I'm thinking we're closer than we think to having him sleep in his real crib!  Part of me is kinda sad about that.  But I'm sure after the first full night of good sleep I'm sure I'll feel a little different.

There's a baby in there!
