House to Home

Fall in St. Louis 2013

You guys know that I'm sort of obsessed with Fall, right?  I wanted to show you our house during this beautiful season.

Also, I had people over, so it was clean. Which in my world equates to a required photo op, on account of it being so rare.

This fireplace.  AH! I just can't get enough.  I sort of have a thing for old fireplaces (and staircases)

Stained glass.  I am obsessed with you.
Those green picture frames are an incomplete diy project.  Story of my life.

For now, I just framed some scrapbook paper.  Because why not, right?

Do you love my exercise step?  Don't let it fool you.  I'd love to say it's out cause I use it, but alas, it's main purpose now is a truck ramp.

I forgot to tell you that by "the house" I really meant 2 rooms.  We can't get carried away here.  Mostly, I just like taking pictures of my decorations so that the next year I know where I put things.

 Happy Fall!

Ps.  Now that I have officially documented this, I''m fully ready to move on to the next season of decorations, if you know what I mean...

The House on 54th Street

Our house in August 2011

This last one is Christopher's touch.  We'll for sure be taking it to St. Louis with us.

Finally, the pink tulips have made their debut.  Have I told you how much I absolutely LOVE tulips?  Well, it's true, I love them.  Not as much as roses, but a close second.

The pink ones are here!

Just some pictures of our house after the first mow of the year.
Front door

Oh look who I found in the reflection of the front door...

pale yellow tulips...can't wait for the pink ones

One pink one!

Freshly mowed green grass.  Oh how I love our house in the spring and summer!

I needed to take a picture of these because soon they will be the most beautiful peonies you've ever seen.

Front porch

We bought these chairs for $14 each at home depot.  They were a steal!  They weren't painted so I used the left over paint from our living room.  We love how the green is a perfect accent to the front of the house.

Hoppy Easter!  I used the same green paint to make this egg.  I have a door hanger for every season.  I get wood at Lowes and use a saw to cut the shape I want.  Then I sand, paint and decorate.
