Nostalgic

We miss Christmas.  We had the dinner to prove it.

Believe it or not, this was not planned.  We realized a few bites in that the colors were perfect for our favorite holiday.  We have 12 days of Christmas right?

It's Over?

How did Christmas come and go in the snap of a finger?  I have to say, the build-up of the holidays is seriously my favorite time of the year.  Listening to Christmas music on the radio at all times = instant happiness.  Going to mass at St. Margaret Mary's here in Omaha is just so beautiful.  Spending Christmas Eve with my entire family (both sides came over to my parent's house) can't be any more fun.  So why does it have to go by so fast?  Why does it have to be over?  Here's my Christmas recap (you ready for this?):

Before Christmas

My Grandparents and Jude at their house
These next few are for you, Matt.  He's getting into everything.  Particular faves: electronics and dvd's.  Does it make you cringe?

Yes, he opens drawers by himself.
And suggests which movies we should watch.

Only the best Christmas commercial ever.

My siblings and I adopted a family for Christmas this year.  Not too shabby!

 Christmas Eve

Opening his first Christmas present ever.  I like his technique.

proud huskers!

This was probably his favorite Christmas gift.....look at that face!
Christmas Eve party at my parent's house

My mom made a Nativity scene in the fireplace!

My aunt Suzi made that Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.

These two take the most amazing pics together.

The wonder of a child on Christmas.

Everyone was jealous of his Christmas pjs.

White elephant gift exchange

We did it Jen!  We got a non-wedding family group shot!  Even Jude's excited about that.

Can you tell Chris had been up for almost 2 days straight (he worked overnight 23-24).  Quote of the night:  "I don't even feel like I'm living."

 Christmas morning

Happiest baby in the world

He got a sippy cup.....still figuring out how to use it.

I think this speaks for everyone

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
