Air show

Can we all just forget, for a moment, that I have so much catching up to do on this here blog? Don't mind the fact that Lucy is now one (!!!!) and Easter has come and gone. I'll get to that (maybe).

But can I just tell you, for a sec, about the amazing day we had today? Chris was off work and it was 75 and sunny so God was pretty much setting us up for awesomeness. But this...this was just TOO much. You guys, we went to an air show! Have you been to an air show? If not, you have got to get yourself to one. The blue angels will steal your heart. Speaking of stolen hearts, take a look at the following:

I mean, come on! Besides a few meltdowns and some pee-soaked shorts (thank goodness it was a nice day...those suckers dried in no time!) we had the perfect afternoon. And that girl loved it almost as much as Chris and I! We thought Jude would be the one to flip out, but Lucy was pointing and waving to every plane she saw! Atta girl!

So all in all, we had a pretty incredible day. And after seeing something as cool as what we saw today, I am again reminded about how amazing our country is. So proud to be an American! God bless the USA!!
